Growing up in upstate New York, Timothy began his work in the performing arts in the eighth grade. Though he pursued theatre throughout his life, his undergraduate degree was in Political Science and English Literature. It wasn't until after he graduated from undergrad that he decided to forgo his interest in political journalism to pursue acting. After making the move to Chicago for his MFA, he was thrilled to have worked with Tony Award winning regional theaters such as The Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Lookingglass Theater Company, as well as Writers Theatre and The Colorado Shakespeare Festival. He left Chicago in 2009 to return east and live in NYC. In 2015, he found himself drawn back to Chicago where he has found himself making the transition into working regularly in commercial and television. He has now made Chicago his home and lives with his one plant, and all of his books.

Timothy Hutton was born in Malibu, California, one of three children born to Maryline (Poole), a teacher, and actor Jim Hutton (Dana James Hutton). He burst onto the acting scene in the late 1970s. Tim lived in Michigan briefly as a child before his family moved back to Fremont where he lived before moving to California. He Attended a total of 9 schools from grades preschool-twelve. Tim fell in love with acting while in grade school. He was first inspired after watching old short subjects on TV. His love of acting and performing grew even stronger after watching reruns of old and new TV shows and movies. After moving to Nashville, TN briefly in April 2010 Tim made the decision to move to Sothern California to pursue acting. Within a month of moving there Tim started auditioning and booking small roles in made for TV films and direct to DVD movies. These titles include "Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus"(2010),"Almighty Thor" (2011). He also got cast in the short "The Dating Game"(2012)a guest in the web series "Abstract Underwraps" (2013). He also started taking acting classes in 2011 at Lifebook Acting Academy in La 2011 with instructor Allen Levin where he still studies at. He has also acted in several theatrical productions and has even produced a few of them. These include "3000/6000"(2012 and 2013) playing a high school outcast and TV show nerd.
