Tyler Phillips

Tyler Phillips was born and raised in Benbrook, TX. He graduated from the Juilliard School in 2013, where he performed the works of Andrea Miller, Azure Barton, Pam Tanowitz and Ohad Naharin. Since graduation he has worked with Punchdrunk's Sleep No More, Company XIV, Jack Ferver, Schoen Movement Company and Zack Winokur. Inspired by his starring role in Boaz Yakin's AVIVA he has relocated to LA, looking to pursue future acting and dance opportunities.

Tyler plays in a band called, "Petrov, the Hero," loves origami and has a mild obsession with lemon bars.

He is of Mexican (mother) and British Isles (father) descent. Tyler developed an early interest in the arts, and began his acting career performing on stage with his actor/writer dad, at the age of six. They later worked in television and film together. He is also a singer/songwriter. He has two siblings, an older brother, Derek, and a younger brother, Jesse Posey, also an actor.
