Troy has worked in commercials and previously taught advanced acting at the Barbizon Agency in Detroit. He studied acting and theatre under Dr. Lee Krahenbuhl, Mr. Walter E. "Abe" Ash, an alumnus of the Yale School of Drama, and Mr. Randy Wolfe, a graduate of the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.
