Tony Atherton is a British actor born in Southend on Sea Essex but now resides mostly in the Highlands of Scotland. Following several acclaimed High School stage performances he considered applying for drama college but was talked out of it in favour of University and a "steady job". He attended London University where he achieved a Bachelors and Masters degrees in geology. This led to a long and successful career in the Oil and Gas Exploration industry. Tony maintained his love of acting throughout this period, performing in numerous local theatre productions ranging from Shakespeare to Musical Theatre. In 2018 he decided to take early retirement from the industry to pursue a career in TV and Film. His first screen role was as Gilbert Hughes in the award nominated short film Here Lies Adelia Hughes (2019)aired on Sky192/Amazon Prime The Short Film Show (2018). This was quickly followed by his Soap debut in BBC One Scotland's River City (2002). He has since appeared in another 3 episodes of River City to date. He is best known for his TV appearances in Peaky Blinders (2013) series 5 (4 episodes), and Julian Fellowe's Belgravia (2020) as Lord Derby. Other TV works include S4C's Hidden (2018) (Craith) series 2, BBC Scotland's Guilt (2019) and Elizabeth Is Missing (2019) Film work includes the 2020 Scottish indie Film Our Ladies (2019). Work in production includes Netflix's The Crown (2016) series 4 and Sky Atlantic's Tin Star (2017) series 3. Tony is married with three children and lives in Aboyne Aberdeenshire. Tony Autrey (Alfonso Autrey Camino) Started his acting career under the direction of the famous Desi Arnaz Jr. at the Boulder Theater in Boulder City, Nevada USA. Staring as Herr Drosselmeyer in the Nutcracker Ballet for 5 consecutive years. Joined the Heartfelt Heroes cosplay charity group in Las Vegas Nevada USA and performed at many sponsored events by Make a Wish Foundation, Marvel Studios and Avengers Station inside the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. He is the Author of the biography My Friend Fernando. Has traveled throughout Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia. Performed as Iron Man from theaters on cruise ships in Singapore to large convention centers in the Philippines. Placed in the top 5 international armor competition at Comic Con Asia 2018. Last summer landed a main character role in the indie film project Kadaugan, which was directed by Cannes Film Festival award wining Director Brillante Mendoza. Is also very excited about his work in a Korean movie project , currently in post production. The movie is called Money and is starring an American movie actor Daniel Henny and Korean Superstar Ryu Jun-Yeol, directed by Park Noo-rio and will be released later in 2018. Was featured on Assignment Asia Documentary by Gig Trooper on stopping the sexual exploitation of children in Cordova Mactan Cebu. He obtained an SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1997. Is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Nevada and Arizona. FHA approved and member of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. Has over 20 years of residential appraisal experience. Tony Ayres
Tony Ayres quickly gained attention upon graduating from film school with a succession of internationally awarded television drama scripts. He was equally successful as a writer/director of documentary, again winning major international awards for his work. His feature debut, Walking on Water, premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2002, and went on to collect a swag of awards including the prestigious Teddy Award for Best Gay/Lesbian Film at Berlin and five accolades at the AFI Awards, Australia's equivalent of the Independent Spirit Awards. Ayres' next feature as writer/director, The Home Song Stories, starring Joan Chen (The Last Emperor, Heaven & Earth) has earned Tony the following awards: the AFI Award for Best Direction and Best Screenplay (Original or Adapted), the FCCA Awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay, the Golden Horse Film Festival Award for Best Original Screenplay, Best Feature Film at the Hawaii International Film Festival, and the IF Award for Best Director. Ayres is currently working as producer on the ABC TV series Bogan Pride.

He has also put his BA in Production to use by working both on and off camera for various commercial campaigns, creating UGC for digital media. Aside from acting and dancing, Tony is a sought after professional host, doing work for organizations such as Hasbro Inc., and is the featured host of the national Wizardfest event series. Some of his latest indie roles include a lead in the LAWNS comedy television pilot (about the landscaping wars of New Jersey), and a co-star role in "You Only Live Once" by rising Philadelphia director Jimmy DaSaint. When not performing, Tony can be found teaching and helping the next generation. He is an active dance educator, often guest lecturing at various colleges and universities. He can also be found working behind the camera (often volunteering his time) with nonprofits and local filmmakers to help them grow in their craft. When not on the go, Tony can be found in the kitchen, practicing yoga or playing sports, watching Italian soccer and recalling his time in Rome, or at an event as a DJ (which he has done for over a decade professionally.)
