Veteran porn actor Tommy Gunn was born Thomas Joseph Strada in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. A self-described "hyper kid" who needed a great deal of attention due to his small stature, he often asked his mother, "When will I grow up?" During his early years Tommy grew interested in sports, BMX bicycles and motorcycles, in addition to soccer. He was shy around girls for quite some time until he noticed how girls were interested in bigger and "buffer" guys, so he took up bodybuilding. He entered a "hot body" contest in a local bar, and although he lost the contest, he met a man who offered him work as a stripper. For ten years Tommy worked as a male stripper, traveling all over the country and the world. One of his girlfriends, who was also a stripper, asked him to join her on a trip to Los Angeles to become a porn star. While out there he met Brad Armstrong, another porn actor, who took Tommy under his wing and helped him establish what turned into a thriving career. For his work Tommy has won the AVN Best Supporting Actor (2006) and in 2007 won the AVN Male Performer of the Year.

Tommy Hestmark, a Portland Oregon native has had a fondness of the stage and screen since his days at Jefferson high school where he took his first acting class. In 1995, Tommy joined the mortgage industry and still continues to work as a mortgage broker to this day. In 1999, Tommy embraced another one of his many passions, music, and started a record label. He produced 2 groups, Jacob Merlin and Kant B Caught, one of which performed with Snoop Dog and Three 6 Mafia. However, in 2011 he found himself back in the acting world performing as an extra on TNT's Leverage, and he fell in love with acting all over again. Sadly, his mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was told she had about 12 months to live. Tommy's mother asked him at that point "What are you going to do?" He said "With what?" and she said " Your life." He said "I'm going to take care of you." She said "What are your dreams? What do you want to do if you could do anything?" He said "I've always wanted to be an actor but don't know where to start and I'm too shy and anxious to get in front of people." She said "Get off your ass and go chase your dream. I apparently have a time frame now and wish I would have chased a few of mine." So he jumped into acting classes. At one point he was taking 20 to 30 hours of classes per week. It was at one of these classes that he met his current agent, Dennis Troutman and the rest was history. Tommy has since enjoyed not only studying the craft of acting, but enjoys going out on auditions for Film and Television regularly. This past year, he even booked a great campaign for a local health care company and can still be seen in regional commercials and on billboards throughout the greater Portland area. Tommy still has many milestones ahead of him, including booking a few more professional acting jobs his mother can see while she is still with us.
