Tom was born in New York. His sisters were born in Bangkok. His father's work with the UN meant some travelling for the family. The family were in Saigon when Tom's father died so the family moved permanently to Ireland where he had originated from. Tom's parents met onstage as amateur actors and his love of film, theatre and performance then began when as a toddler his mother sat him in front of the TV and introduced him to films from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Garbo, Donat, Niven and Garfield to name but a few had a huge impact on his desire to perform. At the age of five he was sent to an English boarding school to have some discipline put into his life and it was there that he was encouraged to act. He has acted in San Diego; in 'The All Male Importance Of Being Earnest' at The Sweettooth Theatre. Diretor Michael Skehill was in the audience one night and offered Tom the role of the G.I. in 'Bagging Groceries' at The Fritz Theatre. When he returned to Dublin he played The Herald in Classic Stage Ireland's Greek tragedy 'Iphegenia in Aulis'. 2016 saw Tom play kidnap victim Bill Sommerville for TV3's 'Assassins' and later that year he played Thompson's lawyer in the Oscar Nominated 'Detainment'. In 2017 he performed with The Umbrella Theatre company in 'The Shores of Bohemia' and again with the same company in 2019 when he played Robert Hand in 'Exiled', the modern adaptation of Joyce's only play 'Exiles'. In 2019 Tom played Mike Slattery in Barry Woods' psychological feature 'Long Term Affects'- soon to be released. Adapted from 'The Date to Remember' written by his sister Trish Feehan, 'April 9th' is his first foray into the world of Producing, Directing and Writing.
