Sabina (sometimes billed as Sabeena) was born October 20, 1945 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh state. She got her start when Ismat Chugtai, the wife of film director Saheed Latif, introduced the girl to filmmaker Mehbhoob Khan who cast her in a small role in his 1962 film Son of India. Sabina continued to play supporting roles in films through the 60s and early 70s appearing in many major films such as Mehndi Lagi Mere Haath (1962), Teesri Manzil (1966), Shagird (1967), Ganwaar (1970), Gambler (1971), and Mere Jeevan Saathi (1972). Some of the horror, sci-fi and fantasy pictures she worked on include Flying Man (1965), Sindbad, Alibaba, Aladin (1965), Poonam Ki Raat (1965), Husn Aur Isq (1966), Elaan (1971), and Bees Saal Pehle (1972).In a 1964 interview for Picturpost magazine she talked about what it takes to be an actress in Bombay: "A girl who wants to become an actress has got to keep on working to improve herself. It is necessary to adopt some individuality in looks, poise and walk. An actress must also have self-discipline. Regular hours for everything are essential. She should sleep, eat and do things at certain fixed hours; it is impossible to regulate shooting time for it is left to factors over which we have no control. But an actress could get up early and do something of an exercise daily. It is no use getting up from bed pale with deadly looks. One should watch one's figure which means an artiste should refuse to go to parties and frivolous gatherings and night orgies
Sabina Akhmedova
Sabina Akhmedova joined Moscow's Institute of Modern Arts when she was 16. During the four year program, she studied with members of the well-known Moscow Art Theatre, founded by acting legend Constantin Stanislavsky. She made her stage debut in Tennessee Williams's "Summer and Smoke" as Rosa Gonzalez. Other performances soon followed, such as Alexander Pushkin's "Small tragedies" and Federico García Lorca's "The house of Bernarda Alba". After graduation, she was promptly recruited by Stas Namin's "Music and Drama Theatre" as a lead actress, where she not only performed in dramatic plays, but also in lively musicals, such as "Hair" and "Jesus Christ Superstar". Her movie debut was as Irina,a romantic girl-next-door in "Christmas Gift" (2001). Other films and TV projects followed, including "Bachelors" and "Ivlampia Romanova". She rose to fame in MTV's comedy "The Club", where she played series regular Tamara for five seasons. This led to her most acclaimed role to date, Lana, in "Diversant 2". The year 2006 found Sabina continuing her studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. A versatile actor, Sabina has recently played Goneril in William Shakespeare's "King Lear" at the Strasberg's Marilyn Monroe Theatre, and can be next seen as Amy in the independent feature "Taxi Man".

Sabina Bacino
Sabina was born in San Francisco, California. A natural at gymnastics from a very young age, Sabina became at competitive gymnast when she was five years old, succeeding on to state competitions. She was a talented dancer and actor at Happy Feet Dance School and the Performing Arts Academy of Marin, starring in many plays and dance shows as well as dance competitions. Sabina transitioned to acting and has appeared in many television commercials including several for the San Francisco Giants. Sabina's gymnastics skills along with her acting and dance experience helped land her the role as Cindy in the movie Gibby. Sabina is very active in her high school, plays competitive lacrosse and is an all conference player for her high school team.
