Sue Rock is a native Texan and began her theatrical career at Marietta Marich's Main Street Theater in Houston at age 7. She became a Company Member of Houston's legendary musical theater venue, Studio VII, at the age of 10. Under the direction of theater owner, artistic director and mentor, Chris "Momma Bear" Wilson, she became seriously engaged with the craft of acting. Later, she studied drama at The University of Houston. In the early 1990's she went to Los Angeles to study with Eric Morris and D.W. Brown, then returned to Texas and continued to work on her craft with C.C. Courtney and Gary Chason. She worked on a long list of cutting edge, experimental,underground films in the 1980's and 1990's. In 2004 she moved to Austin, Texas and became a managing partner of South Austin Pictures, a film company dedicated to making fiercely independent films that explored the human condition in alternative ways. She now resides in Dallas, Texas and continues to work as a writer, producer and actress in film, television and theater. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Woman in Film.

Her projects are award winning, heart warming and full of life. She is a Jazz/Blues Singer with sultry intonations. Etta James, Norah Jones and Adel have influenced her current style. From her youth Sue has danced in Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop. She is active and athletic. She loves crossfit, hiking and is adding Fencing, Arial Silks, Rock Climbing and Salsa to her list of skills. The film role that has influenced her most was the character Ally in "Bluetiful". The time she took to create the character of a high needs girl autism changed her life. Sue Rowe adds, "I have always had a tender heart for those with disabilities but, after living in Ally's shoes, I was able to gain a better appreciation of the day to day struggles they go through". Sue Rowe is honored and blessed to be able to do what she loves. It took courage and perseverance to follow her passion. The motto she lives by is "Live life, love life, and enjoy the journey".
