Born July 12, 1981 to Antonio and Connie Rizzo, the youngest of three sons, Steve was raised in Woodbridge, Ontario. In 2006, Steve graduated with honors from the Videogame Development program at the INT'L Academy of Design & Technology, where he first dabbled with voicing characters out of necessity. This would ultimately lead him to pursue voice acting. While he found some early success booking roles through casting calls found online, Steve had no formal training. In an effort to improve his vocal performance he began training at Second City Toronto in early 2014, as well as coaching with trainers at Edge Studio NYC. It was through performing on stage that Steve would soon become excited with the idea of working on-camera. In 2015 he went out for his first audition in Toronto, and having booked it, then saw a variety of other early successes in film & television as well as voice-over. By early Spring in 2018, Steve joined ACTRA with an appearance in DC's Titans, and a recurring role in Killjoys. Over the years Steve also freelanced his digital creative skill set with projects ranging from illustrations to fully animated 3D videos. He also enjoys both screenwriting and writing prose, as well as reading fiction and non-fiction.
