Úrsula Sofía Reyes Piñeyro (Monterrey, Nuevo León; September 25, 1995) is a Mexican singer, actress and model. Sofía was educated in the Catholic religion. Her usual residence is in Los Angeles, California. When she was only 8 years old, her father discovered her talent and began to involve her in the world of music. Later Sofia would begin to sing and play the piano. At the age of 11 she began writing songs with her father. During the following years she developed as a pianist, singer and composer. She studied at the Sierra Madre Montessori School in San Pedro Garza Garcia (Nuevo Leon, Mexico). In 2009 she made her debut as an actress in the original children's musical series Mi Linda Anabella in Monterrey, with the character of Camila. In 2011 she became one of the five members of the female band TAO, with which she released an album; Tóxico and the singles Tóxico amor and Dile luna. In 2012 she left the group, due to differences with the other members. In 2013, independently with the record label Bakab productions, she presented her first single Now Forever. Sofia has both American and Mexican citizenships. Since she was raised between Mexico and the US English and Spanish are both her native languages. She's from Spanish, French, Italian, Irish, Russian, Icelandic, Mexican, Arab and American-Indian descent. Film: She starred in her first movie at age 15 "Mujeres en el Acto", followed by "Arresto Domiciliario", both directed by Gabriel Retes.
