Rouven Blessing was born on January 27, 1994 in Munich, Germany, as Leon Rouven Lucas Blessing. He is an actor, known for his involvement in several German TV shows and movies, as well as several TV, theatre and short film productions across Europe. Upon graduating from school he got cast in the Residenztheater's production of "Wir sind jung. Wir sind stark." in Munich. He also performed in "Lilja 4-Ever" and "Phädras Nacht" at the same venue as well as well as several English and German language productions in Munich. Written by Rowan Athale, Little America will be produced by Michael Bay and Platinum Dunes. Rowan has received several accolades as director and writer, including being named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow prior to making his feature debut; and being named as a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit upon it's release. Rowan is a partner in British production company Hook Pictures. He is the brother of composer, and frequent collaborator, Neil Athale.
