Paul and Simon developed an alliance through regular communications and Social Media, then in 2018 Simon invited Paul to take a part in his next film. Paul was offered the part of a 'moody boss' in a pilot episode for Silent Eye. He took this part and then attended the Momo film festival in Zurich, where the premier was shown. During this film festival Paul met Marc Zammit, where they spent time putting the world to rights and built an instant kinship. Later, Marc offered Paul a modest part in 'Homeless Ashes.' Then after he was engaged within the production and is a named credit as Producer for the film.
