Patrick Lee Harney was born in Lansing, Michigan on October 26th, 1995. He is the son of Tammy and Edward Harney, as well as the youngest of four children. He was raised in Haslett, Michigan by a proud Irish family, surrounded by sports and music. He graduated from the local high school and went on to go to Michigan State University where he studied film production. Patrick began his acting career in 2008 doing the local middle school's musical. He auditioned and ended up getting a lead role. From that point on, he was in the high school's musicals every year from the 2009-2010 year until the 2013-2014 year as well as participated in the school's top choir and Men's Ensemble. Patrick began studying acting with Taylor Kelsaw in 2015 and while he attended Michigan State University, began doing student films as well as doing a local theatre company's version of the musical Dogfight, where he played the lead role of Eddie Birdlace. He was nominated for a Pulsar Award in the category of "Best Lead Actor in a Musical". In 2016, during his sophomore year in college, he landed the supporting role of Vince in the MSU made feature film called Sorta Late (2016). The film premiered at the Traverse City Film Festival in 2016. In 2017, Patrick landed some background work in Michael McCallum's short film Eskimo Brothers (2017), and Kathryn Bigelow's Detroit (2017). He also landed a role on the pilot for a sci-fi series called Electron Blade playing the role of Sindricus. During this time, Patrick began filming Scapegoat (2020), playing the lead role of Matt, which is set to be released at the end of 2020. Patrick appeared in the music video for "Torn Apart" by metal band Of Virtue in 2018 as well. He has lended his voice for the SiN Studios produced video game Tuebor, as well as a short film called Letters (2018). Patrick starred in the pilot of D.P.D. Echo 1. He has a supporting role in The Denny Dooley Story (2022) that is releasing in 2020. Patrick has produced on many short films with Vigilant Entertainment such as Ever After (2018), Goodnight, You (2019), and Still (2019), in which he starred in as well. He is currently starring in the series Half Blood 2020 (2020) that will stream on Amazon Prime. Patrick will be teaming up again with the Director of Scapegoat (2020), Jeff Kapp, to produce and star in Vigilant Entertainment's feature film Locker 42 alongside his cousin, Axel Harney. It is currently in Pre-Production at this time.

After Grade Three at Primary school, Patrick moved to Andersontown, West Belfast because his grandparents were sick. After 6 years there, he moved back to Melbourne in August of 1999. He unsuccessfully tried to land an acting career in Ireland and only due to his parents encouragement did he pursue it in Australia. He had guest roles on Blue Heelers and The Saddle Club (2001) and also did a Red Rooster commercial before landing the role of Connor O'Neill on Neighbours (1985). In 2003 he was honoured with a Logie for Most Popular New Male Talent. After departing the show, Patrick spent time in the UK where he worked on several pantos and appeared on the West End in 'Vegemite Tales'. His UK TV credits include 'The Vibe' for Channel 4 and 'Give my Head Peace' for BBC Northern Ireland. Patrick has written, produced, directed and acted in several productions for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, including 'Great Procrastinations' (2005), 'Who Wears the Pants?' (2006), 'Table for Two' (2007) and 'Antics' (2008). Other credits include 'Valentine's Day' for the ABC; 'Rush' for Southern Star and 'City Homicide' for the Seven Network. Patrick does regular voice over work and has appeared in several advertising campaigns and comedy pilots. In 2010 he featured as Alvin in the film 'Bush Weed' directed by Craig Fox and the music video 'The Wrong Brother' by Australian hip-hop artist Briggs. 2012 saw Patrick treading the boards once more in a National tour of 'The Sum of Us', opposite John Jarratt and a return to the screen in the role of Connor in 'Neighbours'.
