Beautiful, unique and undeniably talented, Maiya Boyd is a quadruple threat that has emerged in the entertainment industry as "one to watch" in 2017. As an actress, model, dancer/gymnast and singer, Maiya proves over and over that she can do it all! She can be seen in the movie "Caller 25" staring Jimmy Iyke and Lisa Raye, as Ngosi, the daughter that everyone falls in love with! Director Robert Peters said that Maiya was a scene-stealer in this marvelous movie! She has also been in such hits as Diary of a Wimpy kid, Hidden Figures and Ant Man. As well as The Resident, Ordinary Joe and The Wonder Years. Originally from Atlanta Georgia, Maiya launched her acting career at the age of four. She pointed to the TV and said, "I want to do that!" The next day she was auditioning for Tyler Perry's movie Madea's Christmas and was hired. She was a natural from the very beginning, and went on to book several national commercials for major brands including Little Debbie's, Coca-Cola and The Holiday Inn Express. Maiya is an advocate for voting rights and has attended 2 March on Washington Marches. In her downtime, Maiya loves to read, shop, do gymnastics, travel, spend time with her family and friends, and swim. Maiya prefers traveling to Spanish speaking countries as she is also fluent in Spanish and loves practicing. Maiya currently resides in the Atlanta area with her family and cat Fancy Fluff Sparkle Boyd.
