Born and raised in Tooting south London, Jade was always a dreamer. At a young age she wanted to join the army, among other professions such as the police, and even an ice cream woman. At school Jade wasn't the hardest worker but was always predicted good grades, due to unforeseen circumstances she was unable to take her GCSE's and had to leave school early and attend a training center, where she obtained her English qualification whilst studying music. Years rolled by and Jade tried her hand at many different jobs including working in a printing factory, a sales assistant, and her most long term career as a chef. In 2014/15 Jade attended Newham College of Further Education where she studied Access to Performing arts level 3 diploma, this entailed; dance, physical theatre, screen writing and drama. For Jade this is the point in her life where she knew exactly what she wanted, and she was willing to do anything to make it happen. After completion of her college course Jade now known by the name of Jayda set out on a journey that would change her life forever, to date she has been involved with; TV, film, and online media. She has worked with some notable names within the industry where she has always been professional and versatile within her work. Jayda is still in the very early stages of her career, and is always looking for new challenges to sink her teeth into. She recently was cast for a featured role on an online short comedy that will hopefully be aired on TV in due course. She is always profession and polite, very hard working, has exceptional time keeping skills, and is an all round pleasure to work with.

She continues to write songs, music and text for Catherine Young Dance Company including Welcoming The Stranger, It Takes A Village & State Of Exception.
