Born in Stoke on Trent to mother Esther (dancer/ doctor) and father Alan (printer), Jades family moved to America shortly after she was born following the work of her father and was brought up in Pennsylvania, and then later the family moved to Limoges in France until the family returned to the UK to lay roots in Stratford-on-Avon. Growing up in Stratford when she was young she worked in productions with the RSC, including The Thebans Trilogy and The Merry Wives of Windsor. Her mother worked at the theatre and put her in contact with a number of actors who helped to coach her through audition speeches for new roles. She took part in many local theatre companies including making her own, joined and performed with the National Youth Theatre and had small parts on TV. She studied at LAMDA and briefly at Bretton Hall before stopping her studies to go travelling. When she returned from her travels she was head hunted by her Agent playing the part of Mercedes in Arbitrary Adventures of an Accidental Terrorist with the NYT at the Hammersmith Lyric Theatre. Following this she returned to university to study for a degree in Music Composition. Jade Jones discovered her passion for creative writing in elementary school. Born in 1989, she began writing short stories and poetry as an outlet. Jade was born in Salt Lake City, UT and raised in Santa Fe, NM. At the age of 18 she moved to Los Angeles to study marine biology as well as pursue a career in film and television. She then spent the next 7 years studying with many reputable acting coaches, exploring many different facets and techniques, and ultimately focusing most of her energy on acting.
Jade Kindar-Martin started walking on the wire at the age of 14 with world renown children's circus, Circus Smirkus. In 1992 he attended the Ecole National de Cirque, in Montreal. A year later Jade met 8th generation High-Wire Walker, Rudy Omankowsky jr. and moved to France to attend L'Ecole National des Arts du Cirque and study with Rudy. After completing his training he went on to perform around the world, setting records in England,crossing the Thames with his partner Didier Pasquette and in North Korea, were he ran a 1km long wire above the Han river. He has performed for kings and dignitaries. In 2000 Jade joined Cirque du Soleil as a featured solo artist in La Nouba were he met his wife, Karine Mauffrey who was part of the trampoline act. After leaving Cirque du Soleil, the couple moved to Los Angeles to allow Karine to pursue her new career as a stuntwoman. Recently, Jade started working in the movies as well, doubling Joseph Gordon-Levitt on a Bob Zemeckis 3D Imax movie about the famous wire walker Philippe Petit and his legendary walk between the tween towers in 1974. The newest record Jade has set on the wire is to be the first one to ever walk on a 100ft long cable entirely set on fire. He calls this one-of-a-kind performance Fire-Wire. Jade and Karine now split their time between their 300 year old farmhouse southern France named Mas Pinet, creating an artistic learning community center and Los Angeles where they all work as actors and stunt performers. Jade continues to travel the world while performing his Fire-Wire act for big events such as the Calgary Stampede, or recently the World Cup in Dubai.
