Jacob was born and raised in Rochester, Michigan. A natural born athlete and leader, his first love was sports. At 6'4" he was a natural standout in all sports, however, basketball was his first true love and was the sport he decided to pursue. Jacob earned himself a scholarship to play basketball at Northwood University but after one year had a calling deep within for more. After deciding college basketball was no longer the right path for him, Jacob decided to move back home and pursue a life in entertainment. From the first acting class he was hooked. Jacob had always been an entertainer and realized that acting came very naturally to him. Understanding that a good education could help nourish that talent, Jacob auditioned and was accepted to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA). The intense two-year training program was integral to Jacobs growth, both as an actor and as a person. Following graduation, he chose to extend his training into the Advanced Company Program at AADA.
