Heather Cazes is a Louisiana based actress, who caught the acting bug while enrolled in her high school speech and drama class. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, she remained there with her parents, until their divorce in 1981. She relocated to St. Francisville at the age of 8, where she was enrolled in Elementary School. Even at that young of an age, she entertained her family with jokes, and always liked being the center of attention. In middle school, she enrolled in the band, where she played the clarinet. After 3 years of lessons, she retained first chair in high school. Her love for music and training would be short-lived, however, as she was introduced to speech and drama by her high school drama teacher, Mrs. Sally Tyler. Heather credits Mrs. Tyler for her love of the arts, which still remains with her today. After graduation, Heather did a few commercials, and appeared on live spots for various nightclubs that she worked for at the time. In 1994, Heather got married, and had her daughter, Mary Elizabeth. With commitments to her family taking precedents, she decided to put her love and dreams of acting on a temporary pause. Shortly after, her and her husband divorced in 1997, and she would later remarry in 2003. It wasn't until her daughter enrolled in acting classes in 2014, that Heather decided it was time to get back into the acting realm. Not wanting to vicariously live through her daughter, Heather enrolled in acting classes in Baton Rouge at The Broken Leg Acting Studio. She still remains a student, practicing her craft, and has booked a 3 full feature films, as well as 3 commercials. In addition to acting, Heather has had the opportunity to work as a 1st Assistant Director, Sound Mixer, and in Extras Casting for local film productions. Heather now resides just north of Baton Rouge with her husband, Ralph.
