Gerardo Moctezuma

Gerardo "Moctezuma" Perez was born on January 8, 1989. He is the oldest of two children. His mother is a Marriage Counselor. His father is a trucker and Evangelist. At a young age, his parents perceived his affinity for the arts. They enrolled him in the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Hamilton High School: a distinguished magnet program of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Although enrolled in the school's music program, Gerardo frequently attended the school's theatrical plays. It was here that Gerardo was first exposed to Theater. Upon completion of his freshman year, Gerardo concluded his education at Theodore Roosevelt High School. Upon graduation, he enrolled in Pasadena City College where he later took his first Theater class. At the conclusion of the course, he gained enough confidence to audition for Simon Levy's stage play adaptation of "The Great Gatsby" in 2013. He was given the role of Wilson. After a week's run of the play at Pasadena City College, Gerardo was applauded by Simon Levy himself, who was in attendance, for his engaging performance. Gerardo went on to appear in a subsequent play "Family Circles" directed by Mr. Whitney Rydbeck. At the conclusion of the play's run, Gerardo left Pasadena City College to pursue on-screen roles and pursue his dream of becoming an airplane pilot.
