He recently charmed the big screens with his debut in the Indian cinema's commercial stream with Azhar and was praised in every review that got its way out. His sensational performance in the short film named "Darpok" directed by Rakesh Mehta was praised and acclaimed over the Indian as well as international film festivals including countries like Australia and United States. He walked the red carpet of the Cannes film festival for his marvellous performance in the film Darpok. His success belt has films from Sri Lanka named Sri Siddhartha. He worked in the television industry for nearly 7 years with great experiences. His fit physique got him in numerous magazine covers including GR8! and Man date which are widely read by the country. Gautam Parvi is a Filmmaker and a Writer based in Mumbai. Right from his childhood his interest lied more in films than academics. Like any other middle-class parents, his parents were alarmed. Thus, he was compelled to do Engineering where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering. With an engineering degree under his belt, he was campus selected for a reputed Automobile manufacturing company where he worked for six month until he put his foot down and began to pursue his dream. After a year of initial struggle, he went on to assist Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his film 'Eklavya - The Royal Guard'. He was then associated with Vinod Chopra Films for the next four years which he considers his film school training. He then went on to work with some of the finest filmmakers and leading production houses in the country. Since 2017, he has gone independent and is writing, creating & directing content for diverse platforms like Disney+Hotstar, MX, Eros Now, Voot, Sony Liv, Dish TV'S Watcho amongst others.
