Engin Altan Duzyatan was born on 26 July 1979 in Izmir. His great-grandparents are Turkish immigrants from Yugoslavia. He graduated from 9 Eylul University, Performing Arts - Acting Department. Engin Günaydin
Engin Günaydin (born 29 January 1972) is a Turkish actor and comedian. Günaydin was born in Erbaa, Tokat Province. He began his university studies at Hacettepe University Conservatory, but in his second year he switched to Mimar Sinan University from where he graduated in theatre. In 1997, he had a small role in Otogargara which caused him to be cast in the television series Bir Demet Tiyatro where he played Zabita Irfan. Later he acted in Askim Askim with Mehmet Ali Erbil and Emel Sayin. In 2001, he acted in Zeki Demirkubuz's film Yazgi for which he received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Ankara Film Festival. In 2004, he began doing sketches on Okan Bayülgen's show. In 2005, he accepted an offer from Gülse Birsel and joined the cast of the sitcom Avrupa Yakasi as Burhan Altintop, his most famous role. In 2009, he wrote the screenplay of and starred in Vavien directed by the Taylan Brothers. For this, he won a number of screenwriting awards at the Istanbul Film Festival, Yesilcam Awards and the Siyad awards. Additionally, he did a series of stand up shows titled O Hikayedeki Mal Benim. He shared the Adana Golden Boll International Film Festival's Best Actor Award in 2012 together with Ilyas Salman for his role in Inside.

Between 1998-2012 he performed with Kenter Theater in the plays respectively, "Marti", "Nükte", "Hep Ask Vardi", "Çözüm", "Sirça Kümes", "Ask Çemberi", "Inishmore'lu Yüzbasi", "Kumarbazin Seçimi", "Anna Karenina", "Açik Denizde", "Victoria", "Cimri", "Zorla Güzellik" and "Ölümüne". In 2014 he founded his own theatre Company Tiyatro iN. His first project "Killer Joe" got 6 awards in total. He starred in many Tv series such as "Kampüsistan", "Yaprak Dökümü", "Emret Komutanim" and "Intikam". He also starred in more than 10 long feature films including ''Av Mevsimi'' , "Yagmur - Kiyamet Çiçegi", "Çalsin Sazlar" and "Bana Adini Sor". He appeared in many commercials on Tv. Engin Hepileri won "New Generation Award" in 2004 Afife Jale Theatre Awards, "Best Supporting Actor Award in Comedy" in 2010 Sadri Alisik Awards, with his own project "Killer Joe" he won "Actor of The Year Award" given by Theater Critics Association and with 3 films he starred in 2014 he won "Ayhan Isik Special Award" in Sadri Alisik Awards. Lastly, Engin Hepileri played the role of "Kartal Söz" in "Gülizar" Tv series.

His paternal family is of Turkish descent who immigrated from Bulgaria. His maternal family is of Turkish descent who immigrated from Thessaloniki, Greece. Öztürk played volleyball for 8 years. He was a bartender in bar of actor, Erdal Besikcioglu. In 2010 Öztürk debuted as Selim Yasaran in the TV series Fatmagül'ün Sucu Ne?. He played in hit series Behzat C. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi. In 2013, he played in the international historical drama called Muhtesem Yüzyil as Selim II.
