Emily Kinney is an American actress. She is best-known for her role as "Beth Greene" in the AMC television series, The Walking Dead (2010). Kinney was born in Wayne, Nebraska. She graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2006. Kinney has had reoccurring roles and guest appearances on television series, such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), The Good Wife (2009), and The Big C (2010). Emily Kirk is an actor, comedian, voice actor and award-winning filmmaker located in Los Angeles. Originally from Evansville, Indiana, she moved to Los Angeles, California in 2013. Since being in Los Angeles, she's worked in TV, feature films, short films, theatre, web series, sketches and improv. Emily also has done voice work as a vocalist in an episode of the television show, Eagleheart. Along with performing in other artist's projects, she decided in 2015 to create her first two internet shorts, Little Talks and Untitled. After these endeavors, she created a sketch group called Mixed Nuts and joined another group called The Madcap Underground. In 2016, she started performing as a stand up comedian and began making her way through the LA comedy club scene. In 2018, she performed at the 4th Annual Laugh Riot Grrrl Comedy Festival , produced and starred in Closer: A Scene Reimagined , had a leading role in Prey Film's feature film Vengeance Girl, starred in the short film, Farah and wrote, produced, directed and starred in her first, real short film entitled Happenstance. Nearing the end of 2019, Emily was thrilled to have performed in many new comedy clubs, including her first spot at the famous Hollywood Improv! Most of the year was post production for Happenstance and preparing the film to begin its journey in the festival circuit. 2020 began with Emily starring in an episode of Oxygen Network's TV show, Accident, Suicide or Murder and being able to watch Happenstance make a strong start in film festivals. It has been awarded an international award for "Best First-Time Filmmaker" from the Alternative Film Festival, an award for "Best Romance" from the Shore to Shore Film Festival and it has also earned an international nomination for Best Short Film-Drama from the Florence Film Awards! Along with these achievements, she began to seek out more voiceover opportunities. She portrays multiple characters in Secret Movie Club's upcoming radio drama entitled The Strange Round the World Flight of Doyle Fox and she can be heard performing as Sadie in The College Tapes (The next chapter in The Bright Sessions universe) from Atypical Artists that will be available in October! Her training includes studying theatre and marketing at University of Southern Indiana and she continued training in Los Angeles with on-camera classes, improv and Meisner acting classes. To better hone the craft, she recently put in serious time and work at The Archibald Studio and while attending, participated in a voiceover workshop as well. She loves being a production assistant for Hey Qween TV and she has a lot of fun being a Karaoke DJ! Some of her other hobbies include: writing, wearing wigs and singing covers with her partner in their band, Devily.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Emily Klassen began performing at a very young age, in every talent show, play and musical she could find. She discovered a passion for classical music as a teenager and went on to develop her talents as a professional soprano, specializing in 17th and 18th Century music. In this capacity, she has performed with companies across North America and Europe. Emily is also a grant recipient of the Canada Council of the Arts for her work in Baroque Opera. She also made her directing & screenwriting debuts in "Saylor and Selena," a short film for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge that is available on YouTube. Moreover, Emily was a part of the fan choir in the Broadway cast recording of "Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812," working with Tony-nominated lyricist Dave Mallory and Tony & Grammy-nominated singer/actor Josh Groban. As a growing disability advocate, Emily had Public Policy and Hollywood Stigma fellowships at RespectAbility, a non-profit, non-partisan disability advocacy company in Washington, DC. She hopes to use her cerebral palsy and her acting & writing careers as tools for disability representation. Her biggest goals are to be on Broadway and to voice the first disabled Disney Princess.
