When he was 6 years old JUN Yong Soo, alias Don Gordon Bell, was adopted to Los Angeles, Ca. As a Korean War orphan he appeared in a film and on Loretta Young Show . He grew up as a bi-racial "kinda-sorta Oriental/Asian kid" and to discover his roots studied martial arts. After serving in Vietnam with US Marines he came to the Philippines just as Apocalypse Now began hiring in 1975. Don met with Dir. Coppola and was given position with the Casting Dept. training Foreign and Filipino talents and wrangling them on the set. He lived ten years in Manila, working on local and international films as an actor/Casting Dept/ and pursuing his hobby in Stills/BTS photography. Don left the Philippines in 1985 but returned in 2011 to the Philippines and soon he was drawn back into film-making. He has established himself as a Stills/Behind-The-Scenes photographer, covering film festivals and premieres. He also continues as a character actor, but in Senior Citizen roles.
