Boris Schoemann

In 1989 Boris arrived in Mexico at the age of 25. He was naturalized Mexican in 2009. Born in Paris, France, in 1964, where he studied International Commerce and Acting. He is the Artistic Director of the Teatro La Capilla with his company "Los Endebles" from 2000 till to date, and is the Co-Director of the International Contemporary Dramaturgy Week since 2002. He was the Co-Director of the Theater Company of the Universidad Veracruzana, from 2005 to 2013. He has directed more than 80 stagings across the whole country, performing in more than 40 plays, and has translated many francophone playwrights into Spanish, and Mexican to French, with about 25 publications in both languages. He has taught several Acting and Directing courses throughout the country and worked with multiple educational institutions. He has specialized in Dramaturgy for new generations Audiences. In 2006 he received the award for Best Director of Teatro de Búsqueda by the Asociación Mexicana de Críticos de Teatro with the play "El Ventrilocuo". In 2009 he obtained the Medal of Canada's Governor-General and in 2012 the Medal of the Order of the Francophones of America, granted by the Conseil Supérieur des Arts of Quebec. He has been a member of the National System of Art Creators of FONCA on two occasions. As an actor, we can see him performing in: "Revolucion"; a film with 10 Shortfilms by Mexican directors, directed by Diego Luna, performing as "Landowner"; "Crónica de Castas" from Canal 22, directed by Daniel Gimenez Cacho; "Belzebuth" film directed by Emilio Portes, performing as Bishop; "Placa de Acero", film directed by Abe Rosenberg, performing as a Policeman; "La Casa De Las Flores 3" directed by Manolo Caro, performing as Doctor; Shortfilms of the CCC and CUEC, teasers, "Los Enviados" Tv-Series directed by Juan Jose Campanella, among others.

Boris Shcherbakov was born on December 11, 1949 in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, USSR as Boris Vasilyevich Shcherbakov. He is an actor and anchorman. He is famous in Russia for his roles in movies, TV-series, and as an anchorman of a TV-show Good Morning on Chanel One Russia (2007-2014). Boris Shcherbakov also works a lot on stage. He worked at Moscow Art Theatre (founded by Stanislavsky) 1967-2003.
