Big Ron Lyons was born in Tampa, raised in Philadelphia, and after living in seven cities in seven years between two continents, and three counties, he relocated to Detroit. From his travels, he had become bilingual by learning to speak French. Since 1991, Big Ron has always heard "You should be in movies;" moreover, while directing the film "The Island" in Detroit, World Renowned Director, Michael Bay, restated that same observation when he had approached Big Ron at a club. At that time, nor any time before, Big Ron was not interested in becoming an actor; however, it was not until 2009, when Big Ron was approached by an agent, agreed to audition, was called back for a second audition, and then cast in the movie "Stone" as Guard #3, that he finally became interested in acting; thus, he has taken acting classes as well as learning the business of acting.
